Editor's note
The Cadillac SRX's year to avoid is 2015, a CAUTION at 69 on 442 complaints, of which 302 are in the Exterior Lighting category; the year to buy is 2016, the last SRX, at 88 on 168 complaints. The 2011 to 2014 cars are all BUY at 71, 81, 78 and 79, but they carry the same lighting complaint: 198, 233, 217 and 266 a year, more than half of all reports on the 2014 car. Read the full note on the model page. 2013 specifically: a year the record favours — 393 complaints, score 78/100. The caveats in the note apply to other years of this nameplate more than to this one.
