The steering system stopped working suddenly. Sounds exactly like the recall but my VIN is not included in the recall. I had to replace the steering system at the local deal shop and I paid 100% of the cost. It only has 12,000 miles.
Vehicle does a vibration at high way speeds of 40 to 80 mph. Found several threads online stating the same issue. Found a technical service bulletin regarding this issue (18-NA-355). My vehicle needs a new transmission stated by the service shop.
The power steering locks up and message appears saying power steering enabled please drive carefully. When this happens the steering wheel becomes very hard to turn, sometimes making it impossible to turn right or left if it is a sharp turn. I then have to shut car off and start it again and move steering wheel in order for it to steer properly again. Sometimes I have to repeat this process over and over again while …
