I am looking to purchase a used Toyota Tacoma and was interested in this vehicle. As I studied the CARFAX report I noticed it had been sold twice with active recalls and never repaired. Right Toyota sold the vehicle as "Certified" and never fixed the first recall and eventually Chapman sold the vehicle with a second recall that was never fixed although they aren't selling the vehicle as certified.
The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Tacoma. The contact stated that while driving 40 MPH, the vehicle jumped a curb, went down a riverbank, and crashed into a telephone pole. The air bags did not deploy. The brake pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to respond as needed. The parking brake was engaged, and the vehicle stopped. The message “Parking Brake Malfunction - See Dealer” was displayed. I was driving down the freeway and the motor suddenly stopped working, had to wait for hours in the 100 degree heat for a tow truck. I was informed by Toyota that a fuel injector failed and that it was leaking fuel into the cylinder.
