In XXX, my 2014 Kia Sedona suffered a catastrophic internal engine failure matching the known 3.3L Lambda V6 factory defect. The engine block threads stripped out, destroying the head gasket and causing extreme, immediate loss of radiator fluid and over-pressurization of the coolant expansion tank. A professional mechanic provided an engine replacement estimate of $16,000, which exceeded the vehicle value. To mitigat…
The contact owns a 2014 Kia Sedona. The contact stated that while driving in sunlight, the contact became aware of bubbles on the windshield, causing blurred vision while driving. The dealer was notified of the failure, but the vehicle was not inspected. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 127,000.
Intermittent brake light reporting since November and repaired for leaking Fluid. December it continued and been leaking brake fluid. 3 seperate repair companies assessed and found the same issue that the brake module needs to be replaced and electrical compromised. The vehicle is currently at the Kia dealership (Cowboy Kia, Conroe, TX) awaiting repairs.
