I received a check engine light will driving which is now indicated as code P0720 and P0500. The car refused to shift past 3rd gear and began to sputter and would not allow me to go past 25mph disrupting the flow of traffic.
Front and middle crossmember rusted out to the point they have no more structural effects issues discovered while fixing a know issue to these models : rusted out and leaking engine and transmission oils pans I had confirmation from the dealership and other independent repair shop that leaking oils pans are common for those models and can cause engine and transmission failure.
