While driving on the freeway my engine started slowing down and a message came on the dash saying "Transmission Service". The contact owns a 2015 Ram Promaster 2500. The contact stated that, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated, indicating a torque converter failure. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the torque converter was replaced. The failure recurred and was repaired an additional two times. Driving 55mph on highway when, the vehicle began to shudder abnormally, resulting in pulling over to the shoulder of the interstate. Took vehicle to mechanic and learned oil coolant housing was leaking. This is a known design flaw by the manufacturer which can lead to engine damage and/or sudden stops of performance while driving.
