What owners say
Verbatim reports filed with the United States safety regulator (NHTSA) by owners of this exact model year. Public record.
The problem I am having now envovles the EMC. After getting the catalytic converters replaced 2 times replacing the oxygen sensors 3 times and the manifold replaced, also a few other things that’s all connected the computer won’t acknowledge that’s the new parts have been replaced. So the engine still has a bad exhaust smell and the vehicle won’t run properly. Mechanic said I shouldn’t have a problem with the EMC but…
Rear subframe rusted through and car was a safety hazard to drive. Entire rear subframe needed to be replaced. Remainder of car only contained surface rust.
The CVT in my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder is experiencing judder and hesitation due to internal failure (Code P17F0), which affects drivability and acceleration from a stop. This creates a safety risk in traffic, intersections, and merging. Nissan acknowledged similar issues in other models with extended warranties, but not in this model despite identical symptoms.
