We recently bought this vehicle a few weeks ago. Since we’ve had it I have been noticing a strong smell of burning engine coolant. I have looked at similar models of the 2021 Range Rover sports and they do have recalls for issues with the engine coolant system. I assume this is the same problem the phev Range Rover sport is having. Today I have a low engine coolant message pop up on the dash.
My car completely died and would not start up ending up towing it to the mechanic and he said it was the dc to dc converter and I heard this has been happening to mild hybrid Range Rovers / Sport an all electric ones too.
Vehicle was operating normally on interstate traffic at 70mph when vehicle suddenly flashed "Charging system fault" and the vehicle then would not accelerate and dropped to 25 mph. Trying to exit the interstate and vehicle went into limp mode and battery icon showed up. Had to be towed to Range Rover dealership Range Rover said the issue was a DC / DC converter. They replaced this and are now saying the BISG alterna…
