2025 Chevrolet Tahoe, 6.2L L87, approximately 51,500 miles, rod-bearing/internal engine failure, complete engine replacement required. 1500 miles prior to engine failure the cam/lifters were replaced. Repair invoices are attached. I was told my warranty going forward would be the remaining miles left on my 60k power train warranty. This is not acceptable.
I have 19,000 miles. After each oil change, the engine begins to idol rough, the vehicle violently shakes and the traction control and ABS turn off. The first time this happened it was determined that there was a cylinder (4) failure causing a missfire. This was corrected under warranty. A few months later immediately after receiving an oil change again, the same actions occurred. This time the computer is showing a …
