BMW: every model ever made

BMW's library covers the Neue Klasse saloons that saved the company in the 1960s, every generation of the 3, 5 and 7 Series, the M cars and the i electric line. The ownership record shows an unusually strong split between generations: N20 and N26 four-cylinder engines (2012–2015) carry timing-chain and oil-leak complaints, while the later B-series engines are quiet. Motorsport-only cars are catalogued under BMW M and BMW Motorsport where Wikidata records them that way.
