Ford Fusion Hybrid

Editor's note

The Fusion Hybrid's scores are all BUY, from 80 for the 2011 to 90 for the 2014, but the 2011 and 2012 cars carry 2,869 and 2,557 owner complaints, almost the same as the petrol Fusion of those years, and I would walk past them. The 2013, at 84 on 1,861 complaints, is the year to buy and the last with a full record; from 2014 the Hybrid has no complaints on file and the 2016 to 2020 cars are DATA PENDING. Read the full note on the model page. 2011 specifically: this is one of the years the note above says to approach with care — 2,869 complaints on record, verdict BUY.

Luckily she was parked when this happened and not driving. We looked up that there is recall for this issue. We called Ford and had it towed there. I spoke w…
I was backing and the steering wheel was impossible to turn. The car was on the recall 15S18, was served and obviously still a safety issue. I requested today July 30,2025 for a goodwill repair and was denied.
