1. The system that is failing is the rear tailgate. When it is opened or closed there is a clicking sound as if it is tryng to engage the lock multiple times. While driving this continues with the tailgate closed turning on and off the interior lights in the vehicle and showing on the front console that the tailgate is unlocked and open. the car is availabe for inspection on request.
