Chery does not build many cars like the Chery Arrizo GX: a 4-door sedan with Petrol engine, built from 2018 to 2019 as electrification stopped being an experiment and the crossover took every market.
The background
The Chery Arrizo 5 Plus (Chinese: 艾瑞泽5 PLUS) or previously the Chery Arrizo GX (Chinese: 艾瑞泽GX) is a compact sedan produced by Chery. The Arrizo GX was based on the Chery Arrizo 5 and debuted during the 2018 Beijing Auto Show. The GX was later renamed to Arrizo 5 Plus for the 2021 facelift right after the Arrizo EX changed the name back to the previous name, Arrizo 5. A performance variant called the Arrizo 5 GT was launched in September 2022.
The engineering
Under the skin sits Petrol engine; other versions carried different engines, listed in the specification table below. Kerb weight is 1328 -. Where it sits
Where it sits in Chery's history is not in doubt: the Chery Arrizo 7 came before it; it was built at Wuhu City. On a showroom list of its day it stood against the Porsche Taycan, the Tesla Model 3, the Tesla Model Y. Its Chery stablemates include the Chery Arrizo 5 GT and the Chery A1.
