ProductionNovember 2020–present / February 2022–present (Enyaq Coupe)

The Škoda Enyaq iV is a 5-door SUV / 5-door coupé SUV (Enyaq Coupe) / 5-door panel van (Enyaq Cargo) from Škoda Auto, built from 2020 to 2022, in the decade the industry is turning electric. Omer Halilhodžić, Dalibor Pantůček, Sajdin Osmančević drew it.

How it came about

The Škoda Enyaq (originally introduced as Škoda Enyaq iV) is a battery electric mid-size crossover SUV manufactured by Škoda Auto. It was introduced in September 2020 in Prague, while mass production commenced in November 2020. It utilizes the Volkswagen Group MEB platform, with the Volkswagen ID.4 being a sister model.

Under the skin

The record carries the shape — a 5-door SUV / 5-door coupé SUV (Enyaq Coupe) / 5-door panel van (Enyaq Cargo). The engine, output and weight have not yet reached the open record, and MotorJury does not guess at them.

Family and rivals

Its family tree is legible: assembly was at Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic. Its contemporaries in the catalogue — the Tesla Model 3, the Chevrolet Bolt, the Chevrolet Camaro — show what else the money bought that year. Its Škoda Auto stablemates include the HZS-1 and the Trekka.
