The Grand Prix of Long Beach (known as the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach since 2019 for naming rights reasons) is an IndyCar Series race held on the Long Beach Street Circuit in Long Beach, California. It was on the calendar of Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART) and that of its successor the Champ Car World Series (CCWS) from 1984 to 2008, with the 2008 race being the final CCWS race prior to the formal unification and end of the open-wheel "split" between CCWS and the Indy Racing League (IRL). Since 2009, the race has been part of the unified IndyCar Series. The race is typically held in April. It is the second-oldest continuously running event in American open-wheel racing behind only the Indianapolis 500, and is considered one of the most prestigious events on the circuit.
